Annie Ingram | Art for the dreamers. Texture for the soul.
Annie Ingram creates paintings that feel like a deep breath, a warm memory, or the glow of golden-hour light. With rich textures, expressive palette knife strokes, and luminous metallic underlayers, her work captures the fleeting beauty of nature and the emotions it stirs—joy, peace, nostalgia, and connection.
A primarily self-taught artist, Annie blends Impressionist influence with her own painterly, soulful style- what sher refers to as Imperfectionism. Her pieces are designed to transform spaces into havens of beauty and meaning, inviting collectors to surround themselves with art that resonates on a deeply personal level.
Each painting Annie creates is an heirloom of emotion and experience, infused with light, texture, and heart. Whether it’s a field of wildflowers, a colorful coastal scene, or a bouquet that never fades, her work offers a lasting spark of beauty in a world that moves too fast.
Annie’s journey into painting began during the pandemic in 2020, seeking a creative outlet to navigate an uncertain time. What started as an emotional release quickly became a passion, and when she discovered oils and palette knives, everything clicked. She developed her painterly style through dedication—painting often, experimenting freely, and letting intuition guide her knives. Her signature metallic base technique has personal roots. Inspired by her childhood learning all about the plumbing trade from her father, Annie gravitated toward copper, her favorite metal. Now, she layers shimmering copper beneath her oils, infusing each painting with a radiant glow—a reflection of both her past and her artistic evolution.

Why I Paint
I am a dreamer, an overachiever, a believer — someone who turns to creativity to process life, faith, and emotion. Painting is where I let go. It’s where I practice being gentle with myself, where I listen, and where I meet hope again and again. My art is deeply influenced by the way I try to see the world: through gratitude, through faith, through beauty, and through imagination — much like the way the song Imagine has always shaped my heart and worldview.
What I Want For You
When you collect my work, you are bringing home a piece of human connection — layers of texture, intention, and emotion that were shaped by my hands but made for your space.
My hope is that each painting becomes:
a moment of quiet in your busy life
a spark of joy after a long day
a reminder of light, even when your world feels heavy
a beautiful, grounding presence in your home
Art can change the way a room feels.
Sometimes it even changes the way you feel.
Thank you for welcoming my work into your world. It’s an honor I never take lightly.
