FAQ’s and Policies

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, I am willing to ship internationally depending on the size of the piece and the country. Some of my small items have an option for Canadian Post built into the shipping options. If you don’t see an option on a piece you are interested in, please reach out for a shipping quote. For more about Shipping, click here. Customs and any import taxes are the responsibility of the collector. Please inquire locally with your receiving customs department for additional guidance or questions.

How do I care for one of your original oil paintings?

Caring for an impasto oil painting requires gentle attention to preserve its textured beauty. Avoid direct sunlight and extreme temperature changes, as they can affect the paint's integrity. Dust the surface lightly with a soft, lint-free cloth or a clean, dry brush. If necessary, use a damp cloth to clean gently, but avoid excessive moisture. Proper care will maintain the rich texture and vibrancy of your impasto oil painting for years to come. Oil paintings on canvas are remarkably durable, but they are not invulnerable!

How do I care for the metallic paint?

The fine art metallic spray paint may develop a natural patina over time, adding character and uniqueness to each piece. I use the metallics to paint the edges of each piece (unless the description says differently.) Because of the natural oils in our skin, touching the edges will sometimes leave marks. If you would prefer the edges painted black, please just let me know! Framing is also an option.

Do you take Commissions?

Yes! I open a limited number of commissions each year. Fill out the form to get more info by clicking here.

Can I see your work in person?

I highly recommend looking at my work in person. The beauty of the reflections and the texture has a bigger emotional impact in person. My work is available in multiple local galleries. Click here to see my current representation. I would love to meet you and chat about art in person too, if you would like to see what I have coming up on my event calendar, please click here!

Do you teach classes?

I am developing a color mixing and pallet knife beginners course. I plan to offer it online, and possibly in person soon. If you would like to keep in touch and possibly sign up for a class once I open them up, the best way to stay in touch is to sign up for my email newsletter here.
